Well, what does the Bible say?

I read my Bible and no where do I find that God changed the world or tells us to change the world. There. I said it.

Here is what I do find:

God called one man to father a nation that He would set apart for Himself.  Genesis 17:5

Jesus changed people. One at a time. I don’t see Him handing out cash, but healing. In fact, He healed all their sick. Matthew 8:16 (NIV 1984) I see Him handing out truth and freedom, but not peace.  John 8:32 and Matthew 10:24.  In the “Great Commission”, Jesus did not tell His disciples go and change the world, but go and change people – make disciples.  Matthew 28:16

This world is destined to perish, pass away, roll up like a scroll, flee.  And a new heaven and a new earth will take its place.  Isaiah 34:4 and Revelation 6:13-15

Let us put out of our minds earthly things and decide/choose/ consent and submit to the Lord to have in mind the things of the Spirit.  Proverbs 4:20 (Amplified Bible), Romans 8:5-6.
