God at Work, Hope 2 of

Whenever circumstances look overwhelming it helps me to remember just who God is, what He has done, and what He can do.  Deuteronomy 6 & 11 prompted this idea.  I am very blessed to have had Sunday School teachers who were faithful to tell the stories of the old saints from Genesis to Revelation.  In other words, the whole Bible which is available at https://www.biblegateway.com/ or one of the apps.

Today, I think I’ll start with Isaiah 55:6-11.  This is where God says that the word He speaks does not depart from His mouth without accomplishing what He sends it to do.  This is also the same Word that is Jesus as indicated by footnotes in the NIV 1986:  John 1:1.

Ephesians 2:10 says we are God’s masterpiece – His poema (see the word poem).

We know that He who began a good work in us will be faithful to see it to completion, Philippians 1:6.

We also know that He will not let go of us because Hebrews 13:5 says so!
