I am reading Job 9 and get to verse 7 where Job says, “He (God) speaks to the sun and it does not shine; he (God) seals off the light of the stars,” NIV 1984.

I remember pondering black holes previously and I realize it is God sealing off the light. I think about the appearance of things and remember the song, I Heard it through the Grapevine:
Significance of the song? The lyrics: believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see – my paraphrase if not a direct quote.
I remember other things God sealed:
- us with the Holy Spirit, Ephesians 1:1
- Noah’s story where God shuts them in the ark, Genesis 7:16
